Pat: Welcome to the Orbo Webinar. We're here today to introduce you to the first Orbo product, the O-Cube. Orbo is a highly controversial technology ... (Shaun places the O-Cube on the table) ..and we're going to demonstrate the functionality of the O-Cube. Before we do that, however, we want to just give you a brief flavour of who we are and the journey that we've taken over the last fifteen years.

Led by a bailiff into Judge Royal Hansen’s 3rd District Court in West Jordan on June 7, Paul Pantone’s shuffling gait might have been caused by a broken big toe—gone untreated for more than year and a half—rather than by his wrist and ankle manacles.

That Roundhouse
Submitted by cybe on October 19, 2006 - 15:09
Hello. Welcome to That Roundhouse. This is an ecohome of wood frame, cobwood and recycled window walls, straw-insulated turf roof, with solar power for electricity, compost toilet and reed beds for grey water. We designed and built it over the winter 1997/8, and it was turned down for planning permission several times. After several court appearances, we decided to demolish it over Easter 2004, but changed our minds after demonstrations of huge public support in its defence. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority attempted to get a court injunction to force us to demolish it, but were persuaded to allow it to stay up until July 2006, when we can re-apply under their new Low Impact Policy. Please browse around this site. Plenty of pictures, history and updates.

Forskningsrapporter - 2 (in Swedish), 2005
English Summary
This report surveys alternative water treatment, and different kinds of alternative water treatment devices, e.g. vortexers, indirect water treatment and magnetic water treatment. Reported physical, chemical, biological and more general ecological effects on treated drinking water and on plants watered with treated water is discussed extensively.
This includes effects on water appearance, turbidity, dissolved gases, washing effect, concrete strength, lime scale and effect on crystallisation processes in general, effects on absorption and on some redox related ions. There are extensive reports on effects on growth, resistance and durability of vegetables and fruit (and flowers) from commercial farmers. Other reported effects include decrease of bacterial count and algae and decreased chlorine dosage needs. There are also some more ecological effects, such as en effect on ponds, liquid manure and compost.

Repulsine replications?
Submitted by cybe on December 16, 2005 - 11:32http://groups.yahoo.com/group/viktorschaubergergroup/message/1443 There are some attempts to build replicas! First there is Mr. Klaus Rauber and the group around him. Klaus Rauber is giving out the paper Implosion (in German) and also have some Implo-meetings. As far as I know they have not been very succesfull as the copper plates seems to bend in speeds around 8000 rpm. Then one person in Norway (Mr. Olav Uleberg) have built a replica. The exact outcome from these replicas is still unknown. Then of course there is the real thing: The original Repulsin that Richard Feierabend found in Texas. It is still in US. Regarding information on this machine I strongly recomend "The Living Water" by Mr. Olof Alexandersson where the German version is the best. Then Callum Coats books in general but especially "Energy Evolution". Reda these books before you got to the net as there is a lot of miss understanding and erratic information. Regards, //Curt
The Way home or face The Fire
Most people wonder at the purpose of life. Is there a mission or destiny for each of us?
Reconciling the claims of science with those of religion often leaves the rational mind confused.
Whether you are alive to these problems or not ‘The Way home’ is for you. Even if you go through life without considering such matters this Book is still for you.
If you are puzzled, here you will find the answers.
If you are asleep to the meaning of life this Book will rouse you with a jerk for it is dynamic...it’s highly revealing ... it is vital.
It is both unique and exhilarating. It offers an abundance of food for thought and is a tremendous challenge. It has a message too!
A golden message for each one of us, young or old.

Germano on the similarities between the Tesla Turbine and the Schauberger Repulsine
Submitted by cybe on December 10, 2005 - 02:24Frank Germano <frankgermano @ hotmail.com wrote:
Hello List!
Here's my take on the similarities between the Tesla Turbine and the Schauberger Repulsine: Both are VERY similar in what is happening inside the units. In the Tesla Turbine, which, by the way, I have almost a decade of logged time in research and development, we have a spiraling vortex compression device. Adhesion and viscosity, naturally play a large part in how the turbine is driven. The singular problem with the Tesla Turbine is this: at start-up, it want to behave as if it were a Tesla Pump. Meaning, the central opening in the disk pack is "sucking" in air or fluid, and that sucking force must be overcome by the propelling fluid. This little tidbit of info always puzzled me, UNTIL, that is, when I started reading about Schauberger's Repulsine. Add to this the fact that, when the Tesla Turbine is run at internal temperatures high enough to cause the disks to become maliable (ie. above 1200 deg f.) they began to show definate similarities to Schauberger's wavy plates (in the Repulsine) - short of one difference - they scalloped like a clam shell.

ok so theres a few out there, theres taps, theres jugs, the whole lot. i bumped into a few faucet-tap-installation-go-betweens that are extremely expensive, then some jugs that would be cheaper, and are sold by for instance, alick bartholomew is selling one (http://www.clean-water.dk/side1778.html ) one , i'm edging towards getting this- - what im asking is - theres a lot of these types of things around.. do any of you have any takes on these things, any one that you yourself have verified working - any ones that you havent managed to benefit from.. etc.. please if anyone has anything to add, at least mail me privately or anything at all.

Here are some examples of what I've found:
A swedish company, Plus & Minus AB, http://www.plusminus.se/, that sells IMO very expensive products, http://www.plusminus.se/produkter.htm. they are also sold in Finland, at http://www.bioaq.fi/ Water whirlers to add on to your faucet, 215 Euros (!)...
Then I've seen some of these Grander products;
http://www.kolumbus.fi/lootuskirja/elavavesi.htm
Another one is Nordic Living Water Systems - http://www.alivewater.net/apps.htm
What methods are there to try out these things? I can think of a few, growing something, and watering with either plain chlorified deadish tap-water, or water that has been run through one of these whirlers.
Another method, I read in an article here http://merlib.org/node/1017...
I've read that Curt has tested Dan Reeses Vortex System. Have you tested any of these aforementioned products, or similar ones?

The one provided by clean-water. dk is the one I have, it has an okay price, it whorls the water into a better structure and makes it easier for it to get into the body and cleanse. Drinking it at 4c is quite a nerve-freezing experience though, as the water pierces deep into the tounge and lips, the mouths cavity, afterwards its like a fresh taste, and one feels very awake!
A gripe I have to add, and perhaps a suggestion to boot is, they should use some better cans. The one provided now is in hard plastic and mine broke this spring during a frenzy of lambs getting birthed! So perhaps: A: There is an opportuniy for the likes of Tupperware to make better cans, and use Clean-Water`s technology thus getting a better distribution on the product. B: Since water is generally a light-shy entity it could be in the domain of local potters to mould nice jug, probalby upping ther mineral quality and content of the water contained...
I have also tried one more advanced apparatus done by japanese firm Nikken, that had a renewable mineral supply embedded in the system, and was using some sort of magnet technology for the whirl.. The water was well tasty as you probably can guess.
Cheers!

Windaus Vertical Axis Wind Turbine
Submitted by cybe on November 18, 2005 - 13:40via OSEN - http://www.opensourceenergy.org/C17/News%20Viewer/default.aspx?ID=1103
Windaus Energy Inc. has developed prototypes of a vertical-axis wind turbine and are looking for places to install working demos.
Earlier this year, Windhaus Energy Inc. announced prototypes of a new vertical-axis wind turbine. The device and its transmission system is said to be the first 3-vane helical concept. According to Windhaus, the design relies on torque rather than speed, and many benefits could be derived from this type of operation. The company has yet to complete any formal field-testing for commercial application, but some limited testing has been done. And it’s scoping out places to install working demos.
-- Charlee Redman (OSEN)
=============
From an announcement they sent out earlier this year:
Designed and manufactured by Windaus, this device and the attendant transmission system is the first three-vane helical concept to our knowledge. Some limited testing has been done by the company but no formal field-testing for commercial application has yet been completed.
The prototypes are mounted with the larger models on wheeled trailers.
The properties inherent to our design do not allow the outer edge of the vanes to exceed wind speed. They are virtually silent. They are not intimidating. The design relies on torque rather than speed, and many benefits are derived from this concept. Also, most of the "working parts" are housed at the base of the frame, facilitating easy maintenance and simple upgrades. Its operation mitigates many challenges facing conventional horizontal-axis turbines.
Specifications are available on their website, including output, torque, power output. As other people have pointed out, there are some disadvantages to this style of turbine, but there are also some advantages. It looks far more suitable for local micro power than mega wind farms.

New Energy Movement
Submitted by cybe on November 18, 2005 - 13:06 "Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by power obtainable at any point in the universe. . .it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature."

New Energy Movement is the public face of a growing scientific and ethical renaissance that represents the end of unsustainable energy practices. We are an outgrowth of the now century-old insight that energy is not the limited quantity much of orthodox physics assumes it to be. Our efforts are geared toward educating the public and governments alike as to the nature and practical application of new energy principles and technology.

Fuel's paradise? Power source that turns physics on its head

It seems too good to be true: a new source of near-limitless power that costs virtually nothing, uses tiny amounts of water as its fuel and produces next to no waste. If that does not sound radical enough, how about this: the principle behind the source turns modern physics on its head.
Randell Mills, a Harvard University medic who also studied electrical engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, claims to have built a prototype power source that generates up to 1,000 times more heat than conventional fuel. Independent scientists claim to have verified the experiments and Dr Mills says that his company, Blacklight Power, has tens of millions of dollars in investment lined up to bring the idea to market. And he claims to be just months away from unveiling his creation.
