2002-??-??: Pickle Powered Project Prevails [Paul Pantone's GEET, built by two schoolboys, wins Science Fair!]
Submitted by esaruoho on June 7, 2009 - 17:21Palm Desert - Fifth-graders Ali Lanewala and Michael Thompson are concerned enough about the environment that they've taken it on full time.
After winning last year's St. Margaret Episcopal School's annual science fair with a project to clean up the Salton Sea, Lanewala and Thompson won this year's competition on Feb. 28 by building a motor designed to filter toxic schaust.

Conference Introduction: Konstantin Meyl
Submitted by esaruoho on July 24, 2008 - 00:11Prof. Dr.-Eng. Konstantin Meyl: Advanced Concepts for Wireless Energy Transfer - Highly efficient Power Engineering with Scalar Waves
It will be shown that scalar waves, normally remain unnoticed, are very interesting practical use for information and energy technology for reason of their special attributes. The mathematical and physical derivations are supported by practical experiments. The demonstration will show:
1. the wireless transmission of electrical energy,
2. the reaction of the receiver to the transmitter,
3. free energy with an over-unity-effect of about 10,

That Roundhouse
Submitted by cybe on October 19, 2006 - 15:09
Hello. Welcome to That Roundhouse. This is an ecohome of wood frame, cobwood and recycled window walls, straw-insulated turf roof, with solar power for electricity, compost toilet and reed beds for grey water. We designed and built it over the winter 1997/8, and it was turned down for planning permission several times. After several court appearances, we decided to demolish it over Easter 2004, but changed our minds after demonstrations of huge public support in its defence. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority attempted to get a court injunction to force us to demolish it, but were persuaded to allow it to stay up until July 2006, when we can re-apply under their new Low Impact Policy. Please browse around this site. Plenty of pictures, history and updates.

read this book. i should re-read it immediately.
it mentions Stephan Riess. Using this book, and Alick Bartholomew's Hidden Nature, and Living Energies by Callum Coats - you will be able to form a fuller image of what Stephan Riess achieved by drilling deep into rock fissures -- deep in the mountains there is always fresh potable water to be had, even in the desert, if you go down deep enough, you will find fresh, cold, potable drinkable water. The Stephan Riess method should be revived immediately.

Earth 'will expire by 2050'
Submitted by cybe on July 6, 2002 - 23:00"...Earth's population will be forced to colonise two planets within 50 years if natural resources continue to be exploited at the current rate, according to a report out this week....""...Experts say that seas will become emptied of fish while forests - which absorb carbon dioxide emissions - are completely destroyed and freshwater supplies become scarce and polluted. The report offers a vivid warning that either people curb their extravagant lifestyles or risk leaving the onus on scientists to locate another planet that can sustain human life. Since this is unlikely to happen, the only option is to cut consumption now. ..."

In Mexico, Greed Kills Fish by the Seaful
Submitted by cybe on April 9, 2002 - 23:00"...Greed and corruption are draining the gulf, also known as the Sea of Cortés. It is not dead yet, but it is exhausted. American and Japanese ships were the first to exploit it. Now fleets of Mexican fishermen, mostly unlicensed and ungoverned, are taking whatever they can, as fast as they can, for American and Asian markets. Every important species of fish in the sea is in sharp decline, fishermen and marine scientists say. Overfishing is a global problem. People are taking marine life faster than it can reproduce. The world's catch peaked at 86 million tons in 1989, up fourfold in 50 years. But many governments, including the United States, Mexico, the European Union, Japan and China, kept on pouring subsidies into commercial fishing fleets to keep them afloat. Crucial fisheries have collapsed worldwide..."
