       Here's a .GIF  of  the  map  mentioned in QUAKE.ASC (ZIP). I started
       with a copy machine print that was  made  from  a FAX that came from
       the map as it appeared in ACRES USA newspaper...needless  to say, it
       is NOT the  best  quality  but I tried to clean it up and insert the
       areas that were marked as being submerged.

       I myself produced a similar projection  from  AVHRR satellite data a
       year or so ago. My version was/is much more severe  in it's estimate
       of damage and  eventual  flooding.  Especially  in  the areas around
       TN,AR,MO and Northern AL,MS,GA as well as Southern and western KY.

       I also assumed more flooding around  the Great Lakes along the fault
       that runs from Duluth toward the Southwest.  Also I didn't project a
       time line for this; simply an estimate of what will happen someday.

       I will UL my estimate under the name USASATX.GIF. Also  you might be
       interested in seeing   the   proposed  US  military  base  closings.
       USBASES.GIF . They are mostly located in or very near the areas that
       appear to be rather risky. Does the gov't know something?
